A SEASONAL PAINTING

I've been ever improving on my understanding of Arthur Rackham's watercolor technique and believe I've accomplished a modest portion of that task with this painting. Entitled Jack Frost, this is an 8 x 12 experiment attempting to freehand the drawing before adding the glazes. All in all I thought the experiment successful with much more growth to follow.

An update on my father's condition: He still doesn't know he has cancer which might account for his speedy recovery. The only thing that remains is seeing how the chemo-therapy is progressing in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, he has been placed in therapy so that he can start to walk again. With continued prayers and support from friends, family and church I've no doubt my father will be back home before the new year.
