A MIXTURE OF SADNESS AND LANDSCAPES

I have been working tirelessly around the clock with examples like the two finished watercolors above. So far I've done around 16 within two weeks time and will be selling them all on eBay shortly. I would sell them now but an emergency requiring more attention than selling myself cheap through the biggest flea market in the world has emerged. My father has been failing these past few weeks then ending up having to go to the hospital. I dreaded the prognosis but as I feared the most, Dad's got cancer. His spirits are high and he's more animated now that he's under the proper care, but he doesn't know he's got cancer yet. Last night he had a heart attack. I expected to see a shadow of the man I've noticed the past few days but he was just as alert and talkative as he's been previously. But it's all enough for me to worry and suffer insomnia in which I'm able to produce landscapes like the two you see above.

And a couple more for good measure

Autumn is my favorite time of the year which usually brings out the best of me for being in the best of moods for painting. Here are a couple of watercolors I did for the sake of just painting. One is an illustration from Rumplestilskin and the other is a nice study of a house from my favorite haunt, Ft. Howard, Maryland.

I have a few more done and will post those at a later time once I've scanned them. I'll no doubt have finished a couple more in the meantime.
